The 2019 Argyle Pink Diamond Signature Tender has now concluded and we are pleased to announce that B&K Diamonds was successful in securing 5 of these unbelievably rare stones.
Our major excitement centers around the fact that we secured Lot 1, the amazing 1.75ct Red Radiant named ‘Enigma’, the second largest red ever offered in an Argyle Signature Tender. With the mine scheduled to close at the end of next year to be able to secure the rarest amongst the rare is something that we are all very excited about.
We also secured a second hero stone the Oval named ‘Verity’, a 1.37ct Vivid Purplish Pink, one of the five largest Oval shaped Fancy Vivid Purplish Pink diamonds ever offered at tender.
The growth in the value of Argyle Pink Diamonds has been phenomenal. Double-digit growth year after year when all other commodities seem to bounce around makes us proud to be an Authorised Partner. As an Authorised partner we receive four allocations of product a year and each time you are disappointed that you do not get enough product to meet the demand.
With the mine closure imminent we can only imagine the escalation in value moving forward based on the last 10 year’s performance. For now, we can delight in the product we possess and look forward to the next period of time in which we have eight allocations and one possibly two Signature and Single Premium Tenders to go.
